The International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL) is an annual international conference with the main focus on the hybrid mode of learning - a combination of the online learning or e-learning and the traditional face-to-face learning. The purpose is to bring together researchers and developers from education and computer science to advance the research of hybrid learning.

The conference series started in 2007 as the First Symposium on Hybrid Learning (SHL2007), which is a part of the International Conference on ICT in Teaching and Learning, held on 9-10 July 2007 at the Open University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

The First International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2008) was held on 13-15 August 2008 at the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 5169) by Springer.

The Second International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2009) was held on 25-27 August 2009 at the University of Macau, Macau. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 5685) by Springer.

The Third International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2010) was held on 16-18 August 2010 at the Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 6248) by Springer.

The Fourth International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2011) was held on 10-12 August 2011 at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Community College, Hong Kong, China. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 6837) by Springer.

The Fifth International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2012) was held on 13-15 August 2012 at South China Normal University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 7411) by Springer.

The Sixth International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2013) was held on 12-14 August 2013 at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 8038) by Springer.

The Seventh International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2014) was held on 8-10 August 2014 at the East China Normal University (ECNU 华东师范大学), Shanghai, China. The conference proceedings was published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (Volume 8595) by Springer.

The Eighth International Conference on Hybrid Learning (ICHL2015) was held on 27-29 July 2015 at Central China Normal University (CCNU 华中师范大学), Wuhan, China.

Collegiate Competition on Educational Technology (CCET2016) was held on 11 June 2016 at The Open University of Hong Kong (OpenU 香港公開大學), HKSAR, China.

The 2018 International Conference on Technology in Education (ICTE 2018) was held on 9-11 January 2018 at Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE), HKSAR, China.

The 2019 International Conference on Technology in Education (ICTE 2019) was held on 15-17 March 2019 at South China Normal University, Guangzhou, China.

The 2020 International Conference on Technology in Education (ICTE 2020) was held online on 19-22 August 2020, hosted by the University of Macau, Macao SAR, China.

The 2023 International Conference on Technology in Education (ICTE 2023) will be held on 19-21 December 2023 at Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.
